NDIS psychology in Goulburn.

Our AHPRA-registered psychologists see NDIS participants at our Goulburn clinic for anxiety, low mood, trauma, grief, and the patterns that keep showing up — work that sits under Capacity Building in your plan. Plan-managed and self-managed participants can book straight in; if the NDIA manages your plan, we check where we stand as a registered provider for your situation first. Every session ties back to the goals already in your plan, starting with an assessment before any treatment begins.

How it works

NDIS-funded psychology, step by step.

  1. Check your plan type

Plan-managed and self-managed participants can book straight in. If the NDIA manages your plan, a registered provider is required — we check where we stand for your situation before the first appointment.

  2. Service agreement

Before your first session we send a short service agreement covering the work, the hours set aside, and cancellation terms. Nothing costs more than the NDIS price guide.

  3. Assessment against your goals

Your first appointment is an assessment — what's going on, what you want to be able to do, and how that lines up with the goals in your plan. Treatment starts from there.

  4. Ongoing therapy

Sessions build on the plan set in the assessment, working toward the Improved Daily Living or Improved Health and Wellbeing goals in your NDIS plan.

  5. Reports and plan review

Progress reports and plan-review letters are built into the agreed hours. At each plan review we talk through what's been done and what's worth asking for next.

Before you come in

What to have ready.

  • Your NDIS number
  • A copy of your current plan, or the funded-supports section
  • Your plan manager's name and email, if you're plan-managed
  • A sentence on what you'd like to work on

Common questions

Questions we get asked a lot.

  • Do I need a referral to see a psychologist under NDIS?

No. NDIS funding for psychology comes through your plan, not a GP referral. If the NDIA manages your plan, a registered provider is required, so we check where we stand for your situation before we confirm the first appointment.

  • What if the NDIA manages my plan?

You can still get in touch. Plan-managed and self-managed participants can book straight in; for NDIA-managed funding a registered provider is required, so we'll check where we stand for your situation and let you know before booking is confirmed.

  • What does psychology cover under my NDIS plan?

Therapy sits under Capacity Building — Improved Daily Living and Improved Health and Wellbeing — and is tied to the goals already in your plan. The first appointment is an assessment that lines up what's going on with what you want to be able to do, and treatment builds from there.

  • Who writes the progress reports for my plan review?

We do. Progress reports and plan-review letters are written into your agreed hours, and at each plan review we talk through what's been done and what's worth asking for next.
