NDIS · Occupational therapy

NDIS occupational therapy in Goulburn.

Occupational therapy under the NDIS at our Goulburn clinic, for participants working on daily living, home access, equipment, or capacity goals already in their plan. Plan-managed and self-managed participants can book straight in; if your plan is NDIA-managed, we check where we stand as a registered provider for your situation first. Every appointment ties back to your plan goals, from the first assessment through to the reports written for your plan reviews.

How it works

NDIS-funded occupational therapy, step by step.

  1. Check your plan type

Plan-managed and self-managed participants can book straight in. If the NDIA manages your plan, we check where we stand as a registered provider for your situation before the first appointment.

  2. Service agreement

We send a short service agreement before your first appointment, setting out the OT work, the hours set aside, and cancellation terms. Nothing costs more than the NDIS price guide.

  3. Assessment against your goals

Your first appointment is an assessment — what's going on, what you want to be able to do, and how that lines up with the goals already in your plan.

  4. Therapy, equipment, or reports

Treatment follows from the assessment — home modification advice, equipment prescription, hand therapy, cognitive rehab, or capacity reports, depending on your goals.

  5. Reports and plan reviews

Progress reports and plan-review letters are built into your agreed hours. At each plan review we talk through what's been done and what to ask for next.

Common questions

Questions we get asked a lot.

  • Do I need a referral to start NDIS occupational therapy?

No referral is needed to book. Plan-managed and self-managed participants can book straight in. If your plan is NDIA-managed, we check where we stand as a registered provider for your situation before the first appointment.

  • What happens at the first appointment?

It's an assessment — what's going on, what you want to be able to do, and how that lines up with the goals already in your plan. Treatment planning starts from there.

  • Will I be out of pocket?

For plan-managed and self-managed participants, sessions are billed against your plan. Nothing costs more than the NDIS price guide, and a short service agreement sent before your first appointment sets out the work, the hours set aside, and cancellation terms.

  • What if my plan hasn't been finalised, or I'm not sure it covers OT?

Send through your NDIS number and whatever part of your plan you can access, plus a sentence on what you'd like to work on. We'll talk through whether occupational therapy fits your current goals before you book.
