Physiotherapy in Run-O-Waters.

We treat Run-O-Waters residents from our Goulburn clinic — about 18 minutes and 12 km away.

Local care

Physiotherapy for Run-O-Waters residents.

Acreage blocks and school sport shape daily life on Goulburn's western fringe, where Run-O-Waters sits about 12 kilometres and 18 minutes from our clinic — close enough to fit around drop-offs and training nights. Kids playing weekend sport bring sprained ankles and sore knees; parents managing a lifestyle block bring the fencing strains and lifting niggles that come with acreage upkeep.

Being this close in means physio can fit into a normal week rather than a planned trip. We diagnose the injury, get a plan moving early, and coordinate school-sport recovery timelines so kids get back to training when it's actually safe to.

For families splitting time between Run-O-Waters, Baw Baw, Yarra and Kingsdale, a nearby physio means less time off training, less time away from work, and less time guessing what's actually wrong.

What we treat

What Run-O-Waters patients see us for.

A physiotherapist is usually the right first stop for pain, injury, and how the body moves — before scans, injections, or surgery for anything that isn't an emergency. Our physios are AHPRA-registered and treat everything from fresh strains to long rehab after surgery, with a diagnosis and a written plan on day one.

Common questions

Questions we get asked a lot.

  • Is Run-O-Waters close enough for regular physio visits?

Yes — at around 12 kilometres and 18 minutes, it's one of the closer suburbs to our clinic, which makes standing weekly or fortnightly programs realistic for ongoing issues or sports recovery.

  • What funding covers a school-sport injury?

Most junior sport injuries are covered privately or out-of-pocket with a Medicare rebate if eligible. If the injury happened at a workplace or through a motor vehicle incident instead, WorkCover or CTP may apply.

  • Do I need a GP referral to see a physio?

No. You can book physiotherapy directly as a private patient. A referral is only needed for the funded pathways — a GP Chronic Disease Management plan for a Medicare rebate, or the relevant paperwork for WorkCover, CTP, DVA, or NDIS. Bring any referral or plan you already have and we'll sort the billing at our end.

  • What should I bring to a first physio appointment?

Any scans or imaging you've had, a list of your medications, any referral or funding paperwork, and clothing you can move in. Most of all, come ready to describe how it started, what makes it worse, and what you need to get back to — that history shapes the assessment more than anything.
